I love your site and check in everyday to read your questions and answers. I believe God has given you discernment concerning his word and blessed you in this area. I have questions regarding an issue that has really troubled me as a Christian. In the past few years as my internet use has increased I have become tempted by the images and things I have seen here. I readily admit that this issue has actually become a real problem for me. What started out as just a peek a couple of years ago has grown into an almost everyday struggle for me. I never saw it coming and it didn’t just happen overnight. Why did this happen?

Did I just let the devil in somewhere down the road where he has since created a stronghold or do you believe that God allowed Satan to tempt me in this area? This sin is destroying my christian walk and I want freedom but I can’t shake it. I also want assurance that God is working in my life to help me overcome this sin and bring him glory with my life.

I have a very serious question. My daughter who is a new christian, just found out that she is expecting. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a year and a half ago at the time of her youngest daughter’s birth. The doctors are telling her that because of her heart problem, there is a very likely chance that she will not live through this pregnancy and delivery. They also said that all the medication she has to take for her heart will effect the baby, birth defects, maybe retardation. They are suggesting that she have an abortion. They even went so far as to say that they wouldn’t treat her locally, she will have to see specialists if she decides to not to abort.

She has three small daughters already, who love and depend on her. We are just so torn over this. She does not believe in abortion and feels as though God would never forgive her, but she is also very fearful of not being here for the daughters she loves so dearly. I just don’t know what to say to comfort her. I belive that the Lord is always in control, and that he will never give us more than we can handle. I have also been apart of a church that prayed for a miracle of this kind, and it did not turn out the way the church was praying for it to. I do not want to lose my daughter. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Re: Your 2012 article. Good one, Jack! My only concern is with the last two paragraphs reading as they do, some are going to say you’re date-setting the rapture to occur by 2012 at the very latest. I don’t think that’s what you’re doing, but I suspect you’ll likely be accused of it. I may be wrong, hope so, but I’d be willing to bet people are going to get 2012 tunnel vision by the time they get to the end of the article as you’ve given them a lot to chew on. Great research on the piece by the way. It’s going to be HUGELY read I suspect.

Would you please explain why Jesus’ command for “one baptism for the forgiveness of sins” does not mean that baptism saves us? It is a very powerful statement. Thank you.

Thank you for the commentaries. I was reading the “Bride” article and came across a question within the “Parable of the Wedding Banquet”. You mention under the “Wedding Planner” third paragraph that the “Invited guests represent Israel”. Also you mention under “Do You Know The Bride” the servants He sends out to invite them “are the 144,000 evangelists”. I guess my question is, aren’t the 144,000 from the Twelve Tribes of Israel, making them the Israelites? Or is this maybe the “Saved” Israelites?

I recently read an answer of yours concerning the readiness of Babylon (follow up). At the end of your answer, you mentioned that you thought all bible prophecy including the 2nd coming would be fulfilled by the end of 2018. I’m curious as to how you came up with that particular date.

I appreciate your site and it has helped me tremendously with my End Time study. I have two questions.

First is the army raised by Satan after he is released for a short time towards the end of the Millennium, I have a hard time grasping how the people are pulled into following him after living under the rule of a loving Lord.

Second is the length of life during the Millennium. I’ve read other authors on End time studies. One states that the life expectancy will expand again beyond 100 years of age, possibly hundreds of years. However there would still be an end to life during that time, the body will die. Where does this opinion come from? He did not state a verse for this and I am unable to reconcile it myself.

My Sunday School class is studying the book of Isaiah. Yesterday we were in Ch. 43 and you can see right away that God is talking to the Jews, and that he refers to them as both “Jacob” and “Israel”. He does this in both verse 1 and verse 22. Can you give me your thoughts on this? I don’t want to go off on my own understanding, and respect your opinion very much.

From what I’ve been reading lately, I presume the anti-Christ and al Mahdi are one and the same. Is this correct ?
