You mentioned at the end of the article that “Israel has to come up with the treasure sufficient to motivate Russia’s participation”

Even before the first book in the Left Behind series about Chaim’s miracle formula I used to believe that Israel would make a huge discovery that would motivate Russia and the other countries to attack Israel, but I’m not so sure, obviously no one know for sure, but I am curious why you believe this? If you have a scripture that seems to indicate a “treasure” it would help, maybe I missed or forgot something.

I hope you might be able to help me. I’ve been asked to lead a new Bible study group at our church. I’m very excited but also apprehensive. I’ve only just begun to really study the Bible for myself and don’t have a clue how to help others learn to do it. I want to encourage them to take the responsibility and privilege of personally examining scripture seriously without leaving them twisting in the wind. The Bible can be a little overwhelming! Can you recommend some resources or advice I can give them as we start this journey?

I am new to your website but appreciate all of the articles, questions and answers. My question: I recall reading somewhere, that we were to pray for the dead. I have tried to find references to this in the bible but so far have not been able to find anything. Could you shed some light on this?

My question is, in reference to Ezekiel 33:6, do you believe that the church should be sounding an alarm right now about the rapture? I have been thinking this for the past few months and have been praying and requested prayer for this, as well as telling everyone I know that I believe the rapture is coming really soon.

I know there will be a falling away, but when will these fallen Christians see the truth? If they are Christians shouldnt they believe the Bible and every prophecy in it? It is just crazy how people don’t see what is right in front of their noses.

I was reading in Acts 15:28 last night where they are talking about the “necessary things” and I don’t understand what they mean when they say abstain from things strangled and from blood. As a carnivore, I assume the American food suppliers do not strangle the animals, but what of the blood? All red meat still has blood in it I think. Is it saying that the blood that comes in the red meat makes it unedible to us? Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

How about Ezekiel 38 being fulfilled during the Millenium and not before the time as everyone expects ? Consider the fact that when our Lord Jesus Christ rules overs the whole earth from Jerusalem with “a rod of iron” it implies that there will be so-called “sheep” and “goat” nations.It’s not going to be a world of manicured green grass and fluffy white clouds from the word go. We’ll have to build the utopian world ourselves that we want to live in.

But anyhow,the Millennium is the only time that i can see Ezekiel 38:11 being fulfilled to the letter,”…living without walls and without GATES and BARS.A peaceful and unsuspecting people.” I mean, living without walls is one thing but without gates and bars ?

This seems to me like going to bed at night with your doors and windows open or unlocked and leaving your car keys in the ignition.What could give them that sense of security ?

I have noticed that lately friends and even some family members look at me like I have lost my mind, when I witness to them about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As I see prophecy events happen right before my eyes I have a new concern for those who do not know my Savior. I feel like we as Christians have failed to do what God wanted us to do and it makes me very sad. The Oprah’s and others of this world have so undermined God’s work that when we do try to witness for Him we are laughed at or scornfully told we are Bible Thumpers, fanatics etc. Are other Christians having the same problems and feeling the urgency of witnessing to family and friends as our time here seems to be very short?

Do you have any thoughts on the swine flu epidemic? It seems to me that God has been screaming warnings to mankind from the Heavens for the past few years through all the weather changes, i.e. hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, hail and thunder storms, droughts, and the like, but people for the most part are ignoring those warnings.

Are tornados, earthquakes, and now swine flu judgments from God, or are these a result of sin and Satan’s dominion on the earth? I’ve been told by ministers that God does not judge the earth and its dwellers until the tribulation, but one can’t help but wonder if God is not judging the world now. I would be most grateful for your thoughts.

Is there a difference between the Jews who live across the world (and in the United States), and the promises that God and Jesus gave for Israel? So, if the 70 years of weeks applied to the people of Israel, and so many prophecys are directed toward God’s people of Israel and His holy city Jerusalem, what about Jewish people living elsewhere?
