Week in review January 11 2020

This week, we featured The End Game, and learned how the Old and New Testament work together. Our outreaches continue in Mexico and India! Continue reading to see a glimpse from our outreaches this week as well as a recap of all the posts on the site.

Scenes from our Sunday Service

Happy weekend everyone! We planned our Christmas outreach for after Manju was out of the hospital so he could come. But unfortunately, he got sick and had a high fever that day. Sickness has been going around. He’s better now, thank you, Jesus! It’s been such a long road. If you’re new, here’s our first prayer request post, and his release from the hospital!

We are so grateful he was able to come to church this week. He was so excited to stand up in front of everyone and tell them what Jesus has done in his life. He told them how the Lord was with him the whole time through this. He said the Lord has put being a pastor on his heart. And he told everyone how he’s even more excited to share the love of Jesus. That the enemy wanted him to be intimidated, but instead he feels bolder. He said the enemy wants him to hate the boys who did this to him. But that Jesus has given him the ability to forgive them and pray for them.

I know the Lord has special things in mind for his future!

Our week in the villages

We filled all the water tanks!

Our volunteers visited the villages and prayed, and sang, and, read Bible stories together! These visits are a lot of work for our volunteers, but they insist on visiting them! Being with them in their homes is a special gesture that shows how valued they are to the Lord. Knowing this is so important to all of us, but especially so to people who have been taught for generations that they are worthless. It’s so beautiful and such a privilege to show them that God sees them in their pain and loves them without reservation.

The kids bring their new Bibles each week. They’re so excited to have their own!

Thank you for your love, your prayers for those we serve around the world! It’s absolutely amazing what happens when we come together and follow the Lord’s leading. I’m beyond grateful for you all!
