The Beast Of Rev. 11:7

Published: September 11, 2013 (Originally published: September 11, 2013)
Q

Revelation 11 is a very curious chapter to me. The two witnesses are prophesying (giving details of what is about to happen to mankind?) and no one can harm them during the 1260 days of their ministry After they have finished the beast comes from the Abyss to kill them. In chapter 9 a star is falling from heaven and given the key to open the Abyss as horrific things come out of the smoke of the Abyss. Is this beast the same as the one called Abaddon the king over the Abyss that attacks the two witnesses? And the things coming from the Abyss in chapter 9 might they be hybrids or something from Noah’s’ days that were being kept in the Abyss until the judgment? Just wondering what your thoughts on these strange beings might be?

Should I Play the Game?

Published: September 5, 2013 (Originally published: September 5, 2013)
Q

My girlfriend recently bought me a new video game for my birthday that I had been interested in for awhile. In the game players are Nephilim who are hunting demons. I find myself to be unsure as to whether I should play it or not. The whole thing is fictional and I don’t think there’s anything any wrong with enjoying a fictional story as long as one knows there is a fine line between fiction and reality. But I just don’t want to upset God by playing it. What should I do?

What Was The Year Of Creation?

Published: September 7, 2013 (Originally published: September 7, 2013)
Q

Please let me know what you show as the year since creation. The Jews say this is year 5774, but the New King James Bible says 4004 BC, plus 2013 since Jesus Christ for 6017 years. Who is correct?

Will Those Who Reject The Pre-Trib Rapture Still Go?

Published: August 30, 2013 (Originally published: August 30, 2013)
Q

I’m concerned about those Christians who are Pre-Wrath and Post Trib believers. Do you have scripture to ease my mind that they would make it in the Pre-trib rapture, even though they don’t believe in it? I’m reminded that Heb 9:28 says very firmly that …”to those that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation”.

Taking The Mark

Published: September 1, 2013 (Originally published: August 31, 2013)
Q

In Revelation 13 where the Bible says that the anti-christ “causeth” all….to receive the mark. Can you please tell me the root meaning of causeth? There’s an article online about a man receiving an info chip in his hand and chatter in the comments says no one will be forced – alluding that people might take it and not realize they’re denying the Lord by doing so.

Can We Avoid Hardship?

Published: August 4, 2015 (Originally published: August 31, 2013)
Q

In your study of  Hebrews, you mentioned 3 things that can cause hardship: consequence of sin, the evil world, and being out of fellowship with God. What would God’s discipline (training, learning) look like if these 3 items were not present in our lives? Also, is there any way for us to avoid hardship due to the evil world?

The Two Witnesses. Follow Up

Published: September 4, 2013 (Originally published: September 2, 2013)
Q

In your bible study The Two Witnesses of Revelation you make your case for Moses and Elijah as being those two. In doing so you posit that Hebrews 9:27 is a principle, not a rule. While you explain that several bible characters died more than once, ALL ultimately died except Enoch and Elijah. If Moses and Elijah return as the two witnesses, how do you account for Enoch? The Garden sin brought the penalty of death to all, no exceptions. So, I respectfully posit that, since the two witnesses will (and, must) be killed during the tribulation, they have to be Enoch and Elijah. I look forward to your response.

1948 Or 1967?

Published: August 24, 2013 (Originally published: August 24, 2013)
Q

On June 7th 1967 the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, was unified again and the Jews gained their political government back. Did that in fact start the stopwatch on the End Times?? I’m referring to Luke 21:32.

A Pause Just Before The 2nd Coming? Why?

Published: August 26, 2013 (Originally published: August 26, 2013)
Q

I know it’s only speculative and, perhaps, unfair to ask, but it appears that God has given you a degree of discernment most others lack. That said, do you have any thoughts about God’s purpose for the Sign of the Son to be in the heavens for some unknown period between the end of the Great Tribulation and His Second Coming?

Why 7 Weeks plus 62 Weeks?

Q

Why does Daniel 9:25 state the time determined as 7 weeks, then 62 weeks instead of just 69 weeks?
