The Two Languages Of Daniel
Published: December 6, 2021Thanks again for a great website. It is truly a blessing. Was the book of Daniel originally written in two languages? If so, do they correspond to God’s dealings with the Jews, and the Gentile world?
Can It Really Be That Simple?
Published: December 3, 2021I know a person who believes Jesus is God, that He died for our salvation and rose again ascending into Heaven. The person believes he is a sinner in need of salvation, has confessed his sins and repented but can’t believe it is that easy to be born again. He says all his life he has been told things only to find out in the end that he was mislead, that what he did wasn’t enough to receive his reward and believes that applies to salvation as well. He thinks there has to be more, that just having faith is not enough. He also says that how can people be born again and keep on sinning and still be saved? What do I say?
Creation Questions
Published: December 3, 2021In Genesis 1:28 Scripture tells us that God commanded Adam and Eve to “Be fruitful and increase in number,” but we don’t read anything about their children until chapter 4, after the fall. Did God not consider their children important enough to write about or was Cain in fact their first child? If that is the case can we speculate that the fall occurred almost immediately after Eve was created?
Interpreting John 16:8-11
Published: December 2, 2021John 16:8-11 says the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. Of sin, because they believe not in me (unbelief), of righteousness because I go to my father and you see me no more and of judgement because the ruler of the world is judged. So how does this relate to believers and unbelievers?
Understanding John 15:6
Published: December 1, 2021When Jesus says that he is the vine and that all who do not produce fruit are cut off and thrown into the fire what did he mean by this? Does it mean if we are not able to produce fruit for God then we aren’t saved?
How Did They Know?
Published: December 1, 2021Regarding Luke 2:13-15. The last sentence of verse 15 reads, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” When did the Lord tell the shepherds about going to Bethlehem etc? Did the angels tell them or Did they know from reading the scriptures?
Where Did We All Come From?
Published: November 30, 2021Thanks for your ministry. Recently my 15 year old daughter, who is a Christian, asked me how the various races came to be since we are all descendants of Noah and his sons. Can you shed any Biblical light on this question?
More Work Or More Faith?
Published: November 30, 2021In Matthew chapter 5 Jesus was explaining the physical sins of adultery, murder, etc. Then He explained that even if a man thinks these in his heart he has committed these sins. Was Jesus teaching us to live more purely or was He teaching us that it is impossible to live a sinless life and we need a savior?
The People Before Abraham
Published: November 30, 2021Can you help me to understand what happens to the people that lived before Abraham? I understand the difference between the Church and Israel and even the nations as it pertains to end times but where do the Old Testament people before Abraham fit in? If you could expand on this to cover were they will live, New Earth, New Jerusalem, Israel or New Heaven? Also what judgment will they be in the Bema seat, Sheep and the Goats or the Great White Throne?
Being Like Jesus
Published: November 29, 2021Yours is my favorite website and I have learned so much from your answers. After reading the questions about miscarriages, it brought up a thought I have often wondered about. Will there be babies in Heaven? Old people? Young people? I once read a comment from a man who said that he believed we would all be the age that Jesus was when he was crucified. His reason for this is that we will have a body just like Jesus. Your thoughts please?
