Where Did Jesus Get The Blood?

Published: April 2, 2016
Q

In Why Couldn’t Mary Hold Him you said Jesus carried His own blood into the Temple in Heaven. Where did Jesus get the blood? Since after the resurrection, the glorified body of Jesus is ‘Flesh and Bones’? And he said unto them, “Why are you troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see me have.” And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. (Luke 24:38-40)

Did God Approve This?

Q

Did the Lord command the building of the Temple that will be built before or during the tribulation? Do you think Christians should financially support the building of that Temple? I recently read that the Lord did not sanction that Temple and maybe I shouldn’t be sending money there. I am a little confused, because in reading Ezekiel, when the Lord is giving all the measurements for the Temple, it seems to me that He does sanction it. Isn’t this the Temple where Jesus will come when He returns?

Is My Faith Sufficient?

Published: April 1, 2016
Q

Is it possible for a person to believe (as the devils do), but not “sincerely” enough? For him to have so little “real” faith that he will not be saved, despite asking God for salvation? Is it possible that Jesus will say, “Your ‘belief’ was phoney. You never ‘really’ believed; you only thought you did. You never ‘really’ asked for salvation because your faith and belief were not genuine. You are a hypocrite and deceived yourself. I never knew you.”

Faith Or Works?

Published: April 1, 2016
Q

Romans 4:2 seems to say that Abraham was made righteous through faith and James 2:21 seems to say he was made righteous by works. Could you explain the context of James 2 because it seems to say that if you have faith but you don’t do works your faith is dead, implying that maybe you’re not saved.

Comic Relief In The Garden

Published: April 1, 2016
Q

As I was reading in Mark (14:51-52), I got to the part where Jesus is being led away and then, right there in inspired scripture, in a heavy scene, God sees fit to have inspired Mark to write that there was a dude in a sheet walking behind them and the guards tried to apprehend him but he slipped out of his sheet and ran off in the buff…

If that’s not comic relief, I’m not sure what is cause I laughed and laughed at that. Can you provide any insight as to who or what that was about?

Explaining Jeremiah 27

Q

I was just wondering if you could explain the prophecy in Jeremiah 27:19-22 for me. Was that fulfilled with Jesus or is it a 2nd coming prophecy?

Show Me Your Glory

Q

Jesus is God in the flesh, but what was he like physically, if that’s the right word to use, before the incarnation? I ask this also because of the appearances of God in the OT, yet we are also told in John 1:18 and John 6:46 that no one has seen God, so is it safe to say that it was Jesus whom they saw?

Giving Account Follow Up

Published: April 1, 2016
Q

Regarding a previous answer on Giving Account to the Lord: I think I’m going to be sweeping the streets of gold because I probably haven’t had a pure motive for anything in my life. I’m certain every good thing I’ve ever done is going to be burned like dead grass. It makes me sad, though. I wish I could have a truck load of crowns to throw at the Lord’s feet when I’m with him, but I’m afraid I’m going to stand before him speechless and then fall on my face. What can I say?

Fear Or Faith?

Q

Places like Psalm 25:12 & 14 speak of the fear of the Lord. Is it by fear then that we ultimately look toward Him for salvation?

Receiving The Holy Spirit In Acts 8

Published: April 1, 2016
Q

I have question about Acts 8:9-25. I believe as you, that in the church age that all who accept Christ as savior have the Holy Spirit sealed within us at that very instant. However the story about the Samaritan believers seems to contradict this. What’s your take on why they didn’t receive the Holy Spirit until the laying on of hands by Peter and John?
