Jephthah’s Daughter
Published: June 30, 2015I have recently read your post on Jephthahs daughter. I have a “vow” that haunts me to this day. As a young teen I felt very guilty over a sin. I told God “if I do this again, you can take my salvation away.” Of course I committed that sin (and still do). I am terrified that because I made that “vow” that I am held to it. Here I am 32 years old and I am still struggling with the fear. It is stories like this in the Old Testament that haunt me. I would love some insight.
Temporary Bodies In Heaven?
Published: June 30, 2015I’ve heard the idea of temporary bodies at death discussed both pro and con, that when a person dies, and are immediately in the presence of the Lord, they appear to be in spirit form, hence, the spirit would be without a body. However, in Rev. 6:10-11, referring to Tribulation Saints in Heaven, they ask why has God not avenged their blood on those who dwell on the earth, they are then given white robes to wear for a little season until their fellow servants, who should also be killed, arrive in Heaven. Would this indicate that even though we arrive in Heaven in a spirit form after death we are given some kind of body in which to reside until the Rapture?
The Star Of Bethlehem Again?
Published: June 30, 2015Our Pastor told us about this but I could only find basic info online about this conjunction on June 30th. If you watched the Bethlehem Star documentary, you know that Regulus and Leo were involved in the process then making it KING KING KING. Well, it is about to happen again and we think it must mean that our Father is soon to start the 7 year return process for Jesus. We pray that is the case!!!
A Question About 2 Thessalonians 2:11
Published: June 30, 2015Why would God need to send ” a powerful delusion” to men that are already unbelieving and delighting in wickedness. What am I missing?
Tribulation Saints
Published: June 29, 2015I have a question about your study of Revelation 7. In the last 4 paragraphs you talk about the tribulation saints having a privileged existence in eternity, but yet you mention that they will not sit on a throne at the side of their beloved and will not share in God’s inheritance. Can you explain this further? This is really interesting.
Time Limitations
Published: June 29, 2015You mentioned in one study that all physical beings are bound by time and that therefore we, being physical, could only look backward and not see into the future. I’ve always been taught that Satan cannot know the future, yet I believe he is spirit, and therefore, according to you and I guess Einstein, he should also not be bound by time. Yet I do not believe Satan can see the future or he would never have allowed our Lord to be crucified. Can you give me any insights?
How Do I Know When God Is Testing Me?
Published: June 29, 2015When you’re facing a horrible, trying event in your life, how do you know if it’s a trial or testing from the Lord or not? I know that He allows us to go through things for various reasons, for example, to draw us closer to Himself, to grow as children of God, etc. But how do we know when it’s not from Him? When that instinct is telling us, no this is not right, how do we know if that instinct is correct and from the Lord or if it’s just selfish human nature trying to steer us away from what the Lord wants for us?
How Long Is Half An Hour In Heaven?
Published: June 29, 2015Your site is much appreciated, and I have recommended it to many friends. Rev. 8:1 says that “…there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.” How does this verse fit with a timeless Heaven, i.e. time doesn’t exist.
Married, Without Children
Published: June 29, 2015I am a Christian and my husband is Muslim. We’ve been married almost 6 years now. We’ve both always wanted children, but have been avoiding it for the obvious reasons of how they will be raised morally and religiously. Neither of us want to budge either way. What does the Bible say about marriage issues such as this?
Seven Churches Question
Published: June 28, 2015I believe that I have been very blessed and have always been in churches that would be considered to be Evangelical, Bible Believing (literal word) and are in the church of Philadelphia. As I read the letters to the Churches in The Book of Revelation, am I correct in believing that in all seven churches there may be individuals who are of the church of Philadelphia (truly saved); and also there may be individuals within the church of Philadelphia who are not saved?
