Waiting UponThe Lord. Follow Up
Published: February 6, 2015I appreciate your answer for the person asking what it means to wait on the Lord. In your answer you said, ” I believe it means that after praying for direction, we are to wait patiently for the Lord to provide it.” If so, then how does James 2:17 apply, ” In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead?” To me, waiting means just that, you wait. You don’t step forward in any direction. So, if we pray in faith and then accompany that pray by action, where does the waiting fit in?
Waiting Upon The Lord

A Sequel To The Bible
Published: February 6, 2015In the 1000 year reign of Christ, do you think there will be a sequel to the Bible to prepare us for eternity. I can’ t imagine what eternity would be like if time is a creation of God. Jesus said in John’s gospel that there is more to know but we can not bear it now. I know that one reason for the millennial reign is to prove that man is still sinful even without Satan’s influence. Perhaps the real reason for the literal 1000 year reign of Christ is to bring him glory, which is long overdue.
Still More On The Body And The Bride
Published: February 5, 2015Is the Body of Christ the same as the Bride of Christ? It seems in Philippians 3:10-11 that Paul makes a distinction between the two words for “resurrection” found in both verse 10 and 11. Could there be a “taking out of” that first resurrection of the Body to create the Bride? Another thought: when God created a bride for Adam, He took her “out of” his body.
Applying Zechariah 2:8-9
Published: February 4, 2015Some time ago I came across Zechariah 2:8-9, verses that certainly seem to apply to the United States at this time. I wanted to share that with you and get some feedback on it:
For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In the way of glory he has sent me to the nations which have taken your goods: for anyone touching you is touching what is most dear to him. For at the shaking of my hand over them, their goods will be taken by those who were their servants: and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me.
More About Mary
Published: February 4, 2015I enjoyed your articles on “The End Times Empire. Rome, Or Islam, Or …?” I have also been intrigued by the increasing appearances of Mary and how she is so revered by all religions. But my understanding is that the Anti Christ is a male and that he is the one that will be worshiped. And the False Prophet will help that happen. It seems both are in the masculine in Scripture. So where does that leave us with Mary? How would she fit in with the Anti Christ and False Prophet?
When Were The Angels Created? Follow Up
Published: February 4, 2015Re:When were the Angels created? The answer you gave seems to be very incorrect Scripturally. We have recently had this discussion in our Institute and through studying Scripture have found a very clear answer. I wonder if you might look at it and see if we are out in left field.
We read in 2 places: Col 1.16 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:…”
Exodus 20:11 “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:…”
So if everything was created in that 6 day period, the Angels must also have been created in that 6 day period. The indication would seem to be that they were created in the first couple days – before man – but, as you say, there is no way to be sure because we are not told. But you quote from Job 38.7. Could that mean they rejoiced in their own creation – that they were created with the excitement to serve God? And if we take that verse, it would seem that the Angels and the stars were created on the same day.
Are Mormons Saved?
Published: February 4, 2015Just wondering what exactly are the beliefs of Mormons? I have cousins who are devout Mormons and I have always found they have some weird beliefs (such as the ‘book of Mormon’ & prophets and what not).
However, they all seem to be good Christians – from what I understand, they still believe that Jesus is our Savior, despite their other ideas, (I’m not sure though). Would that mean that they are still saved or not? I’m just asking because in your answers to some other questions it sounds like they aren’t saved unless they are below the age of accountability.
How Can I Explain The Rapture
Published: February 4, 2015My father is a saved Christian, but he doesn’t believe in the Rapture. In fact, his aunt, who is devout and knows the Bible well, explained to him why there isn’t one. How can use Scripture to prove to him there is in fact a Rapture. I’ve pointed out 1 Thess 4, Rev 4, and Isaiah 26:20, but how do I put all of them together to prove it to him?
Was Nero The Anti Christ?
Published: February 4, 2015I heard that in the Hebrew language each letter has a numerical value and when you translate number 666 to corresponding Hebrew letters, you come out with the name Nero who was persecuting Christians at the time of John’s banishment to Patmos. Do you think John was referring to Nero? Was he perhaps referring to Nero and a future anti-Christ, too?
