Judging Nations?
Published: October 17, 2014I fail to see how you can conclude that God does not judge nations whenever it is necessary, as He has throughout all of history. There are consequences for sin and there are blessings when God’s Word is obeyed and/or His principles applied. Nations and individuals are all subject to the law of “you reap what you sow.” This applies to the individual as well as Nations. This is not only true throughout the Bible, it is true in secular history as well. I am a simple man Jack, and this is just simple common sense and simple common Biblical sense.
The Devil Made Me Do It. Or Did He?
Published: October 17, 2014When we are being tempted we like to say that it is Satan. But I’m curious, is it actually Satan himself or typically our sin nature? I have asked friends whether they thought we had ever been in the presence of Satan himself and they said probably not, that Satan is too busy controlling higher level people to deal with the everyday person. By this I mean government officials, world leaders, someone who has more worldly influence. The thought of actually being in the presence of Satan is intimidating and scary, I know through Jesus my Lord and Savior I have power over him but it’s still terrifying.
More On Children Of The Rapture
Published: October 15, 2014After reading of recent horrific crimes committed by young children such as a ten-year-old boy brutally murdering a woman of ninety, I wonder if you think that the taking of the children in the rapture is based on God’s knowledge of who will become born again at a later time. Or could it be that the age of accountability could be at a much younger age for a child like that? In that case, maybe all of the children won’t be taken since God knows the future? Also, I remember a time when Paul was accosted by young children (don’t know how young) and he called a bear out of the woods to attack them. What is your understanding of this?
More On Destroying The Nations
Published: October 15, 2014Re: Is The USA In Biblical Prophecy? After reading this, I had a question about the Jeremiah 30:11 prophecy. Revelation talks about the nations in several places. The mention of the nations in chapters 21:24/26 and 22:2 are the last ones recorded. The nations are very much present here, so I am wondering if this speaks of times during The Millennium only? How does Jeremiah’s prophecy fit in with the nations being destroyed? Does this happen someplace before Revelation 21:1?
Still More On Destroying The Nations
Published: October 15, 2014In Jeremiah 30:11 it says in the end times, God will completely destroy every nation among which His people have been scattered. We here in South Africa have many Jews, some which are good friends. Why would God completely destroy our nation, where the Jews have found peace and success, and goodwill amongst many of us? As Christians, we love our Jewish brothers and sisters. Why then, punish so severely – for that matter, any country who became a refuge to the Jews? I know that it probably will be after the rapture, so why worry, but – your opinion please.
Animal Sacrifice In The Millennium
Published: October 15, 2014Sir, I know not words to express the gratefulness I have for your spiritual gift of teaching that has so blessed my soul, thank you!
I have a question re: Thy Kingdom Come article. In the sub-section titled – Meanwhile, Back On Earth you state that:
There’ll be peace among the animals and between animals and man. The notion of a food chain will be forgotten. No longer will one have to die for another to live.
I am under the impression that there will be sacrifices, meeting the requirement of blood covering during the millennium; don’t ask me the passage because for some reason I cannot find it. Could you clear up my confusion or point me in the direction where I may come to understand this?
Confused About The New Jerusalem
Published: October 15, 2014I`m still confused about the New Jerusalem (John 14 and Rev 21). In one of your answers you indicated at the rapture we would go directly to the New Jerusalem. In another answer you indicated the New Jerusalem would come into play after the 2nd coming. Personally, my belief is John saw the New Jerusalem coming down after the 2nd coming and we would at that time occupy it. What say you?
Paradise And Torment
Published: October 15, 2014As I understand it when we die (and this includes all who have died before now) our spirit leaves our physical bodies and goes to either heaven or hell.
When the ‘end of the days’ occurs we will get resurrected bodies. So this means, in the interim period, that we have no bodies in heaven/hell, just a spirit?
Also the bible talks about the ‘great white throne judgment’, for non-believers and the ‘bema seat’ judgment for believers, and the bible appears to state that these judgments also occur at the ‘end of days’. So does this mean that people who have already died (e.g. Hitler) who would appear to going straight to hell, are not there yet?
Also, on a similar matter, what are your views on people who have’ died’ and ‘gone to heaven’ then been revived? My view is that once their spirit actually leaves their bodies then they’re dead and will stay that way (unless God supernaturally revives them). So maybe what these people ‘see’ is some sort of vision, similar to those that Paul and John saw, rather than actually ‘going to heaven? After all, they haven’t been judged yet?
ISIS, Islam, And The End Times Follow Up
Published: October 14, 2014Re: ISIS, Islam, And The End Times. How can Islam led by ISIS be the end times dominant religion when the Bible clearly states that there will be an amalgamation of all religions led by the false prophet? ISIS isn’t even representative of most of ISLAM, though it seems to be growing, and I can’t see Israel accepting this Godless religion on any terms.
Children Of The Rapture
Published: October 14, 2014You have said that all children who die below the age of accountability go to heaven. Will all the children below the age of accountability who are present on earth at the time of Rapture be leaving along with adult believers irrespective of their parents belief or religion? If it is so, then won’t there be any children left on this earth for the Tribulation? And how shall God take them without the consent of their parents, since they may be of different religions other than Christian?
