Yet Another Trinity Question
Published: August 8, 2014I thank the Lord for all the blessing that I am receiving everyday from your website and the wisdom that God gave to you to explain His word to us. I have a question about your explanation of the Trinity and our Lord Jesus Christ. You said Jesus is forever in human form, you mean like us? But we are created in the image of God and maybe God looks like us?
Second, to whom Jesus paid the price for our sins? We all know that Jesus is our creator as it says in Hebrew and even Lucifer he is a created being of God and everything was created by Him and for Him. Lastly, why it says in Isaiah that our Lord Jesus will die as a ransom for many, why not all?
Living In The Millennium. Follow up
Published: August 8, 2014In the answer to your recent question “Living in the Millennium”, you state that the only people allowed in the New Jerusalem would be those who’s names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. As a result, you say, the Old Testament saints would come back and live on the earth in Israel, not in Heaven because their names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life which is reserved for the Church.
My question is why are the Church the only names written in the Book of Life? When Jesus went to the cross, he sacrificed himself for all sinners, past, present, and future. I thought the Book of Life contained the name of those who have been redeemed by the blood of The Lamb, thus including the old testament saint and giving them access to live eternally in heaven with the Lord?
How Can She Go In The Rapture?
Published: August 8, 2014I want to ask about my 29 yr old who was always the most loving, hugging child & she loved Jesus with her whole being, always participating in youth groups and other church related programs. Over the years she has morphed to where I could never have chosen. She is totally turned off by Christianity/the church of today. She blames the fall of a well known creationist for her loss of faith in Christianity and the Bible, including teachings of creation vs. evolution. She now believes that science based philosophies/theories are more provable, visible & believable than the Bible. I agree with your position on OSAS and know the word says that if you bring up a child up in the way they should go, in the end they will not depart from it, but how can she renounce her faith & still be saved & go in the rapture?
How Can I Convince Him?
Published: August 5, 2014I am a Born Again Christian and my husband is a devout Catholic. I wholeheartedly believe in the pre-trib Rapture and he doesn’t believe it at all because he said the word Rapture isn’t in the Bible. I try to tell him that the word Rapture is a word that describes the event of being caught up. He said the Rapture theory started with John Darby and I said that isn’t true. How can I convince him that the Rapture is truth and it is about to take place very soon and it is from God and not John Darby?
Rapture Hostility
Published: August 5, 2014Any idea why the doctrine of the rapture causes such hostility in Christians? I believe in the pre Trib rapture because as you so eloquently point out, the Bible supports it. But if someone believes otherwise, so be it. Our salvation isn’t based on our rapture or any doctrinal beliefs other than total faith in Jesus to stand in for us. Why is the rapture so upsetting? Some Christians seem moved to threats and I really don’t get it at all. Why all the hate mail about something designed to give us comfort?
Hidden Away Or Watchng The Judgment Of Earth?
Published: August 5, 2014I was presented with an interesting question today and I don’t have good answer. The person was telling me that traditional Jewish weddings have a 7 day sequester of the bride and groom. I do not know if that is true or not. But the question is this; Since Jesus went to prepare a place for us. Will we be sequestered for the 70th Week in the mansion as the OT brides where or will we be able to watch the rest of prophecy fulfilled from our mansion room window?
Why Warn Us If We Won’t Be Here?
Published: August 5, 2014The church being gone, does not mean there will be no tribulation for Christians. The church being gone means that in order for the anti-christ to rule, the church must be gone, and Christ proven FALSE. The AntiChrist will perform miracles, die and raise up, just as Christ, and because of this people will believe in this new “Religion” of the AntiChrist. And if there was going to be a PRE rapture, why does Christ consistently warn us not take the mark of the beast?
Borders Of The Promised Land
Published: August 5, 2014I have some questions regarding the borders for Israel. I have looked for answers but haven’t come up with anything I feel real confident about as far as accuracy. Has Israel ever inhabited all the land that the LORD promised Abraham? Are they doing so now (minus the West Bank and Gaza of course)? If the war prophesied by Psalm 83 comes to pass in the manner we expect it to and Israel gains additional territory from what it has now would they then be in full possession of the LORD’s Promised Land? Assuming that they are not in full possession now: How would their gaining full possession affect End Times time tables?
Living In The Millennium
Published: August 5, 2014I was wondering about who lives where in the Millennium. To go a step further, say we go in the rapture but have a family member who gets saved during the Tribulation and survives. It is true to assume they could not visit us in the New Jerusalem, but that we could visit them on Earth? And where are the Biblical heroes and redeemed people of the Old Testament?
What Can I Say To Him?
Published: August 5, 2014I know somebody who lost his 4 year old daughter due to cancer. To the best of my knowledge he is not a Christian. The daughter had numerous surgeries but her cancer was unstoppable. After her last surgery she died. Of course her father was heartbroken he wanted to die. He tried to drink himself to death and is still struggling with alcoholism. He says he doesn’t want anything to do with God because God didn’t help though he begged Him for his daughter’s life. I pray for this heartbroken father, but if he ever opens up and asks questions what can a Christian like me say to him?
