How Do You Know This? Follow Up
Published: October 10, 2010In a recent post you said, “The believers who suffer during the Great Tribulation are those who come to faith after the Church is gone, and in fact the disappearance of the Church will convince many to become believers. We know they’re not part of the Church because their destiny in Eternity is different than the Church’s.” How do you know this? Please explain the difference.
Dinosaur Fossils And Creation
Published: October 9, 2010Your website is an invaluable resource and I am very grateful for it, you and your family’s ministry. I am trying to answer questions for a skeptical unsaved family member and praying for God’s grace to open his eyes. How can we reconcile the existence of dinosaur fossils with our biblical view of creation?
Made Sin Or A Sin Offering?
Published: October 9, 2010The leader of our Bible Study has been very firm in clarifying 2 Corinthians 5:21. She says that Jesus could not “become sin”, because He was sinless. She says that the verse should say He became the sin offering as we would say a perfect and spotless lamb became the sin offering. I would like to know your understanding of this very important Scripture.
Why Rachel?
Published: October 8, 2010I have learned more from your site than any Bible Study I have done. Thank You so much for your dedication to the Word. I was wondering why the Bible says Rachel grieves for her children. Why does the Lord specify Rachel instead of Sarah, Rebecca or any other mother in the Bible?
Will Gentiles Have To Offer Sacrifices?
Published: October 8, 2010Thank you so much for your site and wonderful teachings. I use them for my daily morning devotional and am blessed. In your article, “The Hidden Doctrine of the Rapture” you stated “When God does take the Church out of the world, there will be another abrupt change as the Age of Law returns for its last seven years. Once again the focus will be on Israel. There will be a Temple with sacrifices and all the other associated ceremonies. Except for all the missing people, it will be like the Church Age never happened.” I had always believed that after the church is raptured, many gentiles who had heard the Word, but were on the fence, would be saved. But if your statement, above, is true, wouldn’t they be required to make blood sacrifice just like the Jews?
Who Are Those Babies?
Published: October 8, 2010I have a question about Matthew 24:19, “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days.” I know this verse is instructions given to those living in Judea (the Jewish people) after they see ‘abomination of desolation’ which occurs at the mid-tribulation point or after the Rapture of the Church. So, does that mean that Jewish children will not be raptured? I thought all children under the age of accountability would be raptured. Thank you so much for your hard work.
Too Sick To Do Anything
Published: October 7, 2010If we are bought with a price (which we are) that means we are not free to do anything we want to. I have been sick and cannot do anything but lie down and listen to the TV. I cannot concentrate on the bible and I do not feel like listening to bible teachings. I just want to do nothing but to make the time pass so I have the TV on. My question is this: am I in sin because of this? I have an enormous amount of guilt. I hurt physically and just do not want to get into the bible right now. Please do not sugar coat for me.
Chronology Of Judgments
Published: October 7, 2010I recently signed up and love the emails and the site. You are so knowledgeable and helpful. You have cleared up a lot of my foggy thinking about the end times. I am wanting more scriptural support for something you wrote (and I agree with). You said that the seals and trumpets will be in the first half of the 70th week and then a long pause in the second for the Antichrist to do his worst, and then the bowls right at the end. What scriptures point to this division (specifically for each of the three judgments -seals, trumpets, bowls).
Would Someone Have Eventually Sinned?
Published: October 6, 2010Referring to Adam and Eve you stated,”I don’t think she or her husband or her children would have sinned if they’d been left alone.” Were not the heavenly creatures created without a sin nature? Wasn’t it their free will, which is the ultimate issue, that caused them to rebel in spite of a near-perfect environment? After all, sin is rebellion against God. It seems to me that the single, most important lesson of the Bible is that without surrender to God’s perfect will ALL intelligent, created beings will eventually rebel (sin).
Bringing Them Up To Send Them Back?
Published: October 6, 2010I accept and understand that at the moment of death your soul goes either to heaven or hell. I understand the rewards for the faithful believers in heaven. But what is the purpose of resurrecting the unbelievers bringing them up from Hell. Just to judge them and send them back to hell? Can you clarify this for me.
