A Question On Isaiah 17

Published: July 15, 2006 (Originally published: July 15, 2006)
Q

In Isaiah CH. 17 it says that nations will rush like the rushing of many waters. This alliance of nations, who are they? What battle is this referring to after Damascus is destroyed? If nations rush it must be somewhat of a pretty sizable battle. God bless you for helping us Saints out. To a believer, this website means a lot.

Another Isaiah 17 Question

Published: July 15, 2006 (Originally published: July 15, 2006)
Q

Thank God, Jack, for your Website because it is helping lots of brothers and sisters out there, including me, who are thirsty for the word of God.

Do you believe this event has something to do with the prophecy of Damascus and if so; in your opinion is it before the rapture or after the rapture? I feel excited in the sense that the coming of our Lord is near and at the same time I feel anxious because I am not that good servant.

Is Isaiah 17 is also talking about the damage in Israel as well? And if so do you the think it will only take few years for this to come to the tribulation; please make your answers long and please cover more details on this. By the way I am here in Saudi Arabia.

Psalm 83. Follow Up

Published: February 24, 2020 (Originally published: February 8, 2013)
Q

The following comment was posted on another website in response to a lady questioning your “Psalm 83 – Preview of A Coming Attraction” article. I have always thought that Psalm 83 was about a future war but not sure what to make of it.

“Psalm 83 is an imprecatory Prayer, and in no way a war. Isaiah 17 is Gods answer to that Prayer. Isaiah 17:2-3, yes, Israel will take down Jordan and the West Bank. However, Israel has not been, nor will be any kind of conquerors. The condition of this land after battle will not make it habitable. From this point on, he skips (as many others do) the continuation of Gods description of what happens next. Israel will suffer a severe blow, to the point of “desolation” as God tells us.”

When Will Ezekiel 38 Happen?

Published: October 4, 2013 (Originally published: September 26, 2013)
Q

Is it possible for you to give some kind of approximation of when you think the Battle of Ezekiel 38/39 will start? It seems like all the factors are falling into place. Haven’t huge amounts of gas and oil been found in Israel and wouldn’t this be motivation for Russia to start this battle? I’m wondering also about the other battles involving Damascus. Aren’t these supposed to happen before the battle of Ezekiel? Thanks so much for all the work you put into your website.

Crisis In Egypt

Q

With everything that’s going on in Egypt there’s a lot of speculation that Morsi is the ‘cruel leader’ mentioned in Isaiah 19. My question is, could that prophecy be fulfilled before Isaiah 17, the destruction of Damascus?

Isaiah 17 Before Ezekiel 38?

Q

Is there any way to determine if Damascus will cease to be a city prior to Ezekiel 38 or after Ezekiel 38? I suppose that the possibility of its destruction concurrent with the war of Ezekiel 38 must be considered for a thorough analysis.

Your site is a blessing to me. Keep up the good work. There is some speculation that Isaiah 17 is a judgment from God. Therefore we will be raptured before the event takes place. Is this true?

Was Paul An Apostle?

Published: June 23, 2022 (Originally published: June 13, 2011)
Q

Your definition of what an apostle is (“In the early church an apostle had to have been taught directly by the Lord, and had to have personally seen Him in a post resurrection appearance.”) seems to say that Paul is not an apostle. Am I right with my understanding of your statement? If I am right, how is it then that Paul defend very much his apostleship?

If Damascus is destroyed and there is a retaliation against Israel, will the Jews that do not believe in Jesus but believe in the G-d Head Father, go to Heaven, if they are killed?
