In Isaiah CH. 17 it says that nations will rush like the rushing of many waters. This alliance of nations, who are they? What battle is this referring to after Damascus is destroyed? Do you believe this event has something to do with the prophecy of Damascus and if so; in your opinion is it before the rapture or after the rapture? I feel excited in the sense that the coming of our Lord is near and at the same time I feel anxious because I am not that good servant.

“Psalm 83 is an imprecatory Prayer, and in no way a war. Isaiah 17 is Gods answer to that Prayer. Isaiah 17:2-3, yes, Israel will take down Jordan and the West Bank. However, Israel has not been, nor will be any kind of conquerors. The condition of this land after battle will not make it habitable. From this point on, he skips (as many others do) the continuation of Gods description of what happens next. Israel will suffer a severe blow, to the point of “desolation” as God tells us.”

Is it possible for you to give some kind of approximation of when you think the Battle of Ezekiel 38/39 will start? It seems like all the factors are falling into place. Haven’t huge amounts of gas and oil been found in Israel and wouldn’t this be motivation for Russia to start this battle? I’m wondering also about the other battles involving Damascus. With everything that’s going on in Egypt there’s a lot of speculation that Morsi is the ‘cruel leader’ mentioned in Isaiah 19. My question is, could that prophecy be fulfilled before Isaiah 17, the destruction of Damascus?

Is there any way to determine if Damascus will cease to be a city prior to Ezekiel 38 or after Ezekiel 38? I suppose that the possibility of its destruction concurrent with the war of Ezekiel 38 must be considered for a thorough analysis.

Am I right with my understanding of your statement? If I am right, how is it then that Paul defend very much his apostleship?
