(For those of you who weren’t able to attend the Steeling The Mind conference in Denver on October 5th, here’s a written version of the presentation I gave there.)

Over the last few months I’ve wondered how much of what I’m about to say would still be prophecy by the time this conference started.

I have a hard time understanding how Israel could possibly believe that they are living in peace before the battle of Ezekiel 38, since they have never known peace from there inception in 1948. Do you think that it is possible after Israel levels Damascus, as Isaiah 17 clearly spells out, and which I believe could be very soon, the Anti-Christ could come on the scene and bring this false peace? Otherwise Israel will have to take out every enemy they have in the Middle East.

Also in your true opinion how close do you think we are of going home to be with the Lord? I know no man knows the day or the hour but we can watch and know that it is drawing close!

I thank God for your website. You have me a little confused though. You and Hal both talk as the lion is at the door and surrounding Israel. The whole Arab world armed by America. Damascus going bye-bye?

My question is how can this possibly continue until the end of seventy years from 1948 or 1967. Please Jesus come!

You have already cleared my mind on so many points of conjecture that I feel like I am imposing but!!!!!!!!! All praise to Jesus and all my thanks to you.

From my reading and watching current events unfold before our eyes I am a little confused as to what we are to be looking for next and the purpose of these events.

It seems like everyone is looking at the Middle East and wondering if it is the set up for the Gog-Magog battle in Ezekiel. What is the purpose of this battle? Is it for Israel to be left alone to fight the battle and the Lord wipes out their enemies? Is this a precursor for Armaggedon or is that something else? It is at the end of the Battle of Armaggedon that Jesus comes back (2nd coming)?

I am also wondering about the speculation about Isaiah 17 and the destruction of Damascus. How does this all fit into the end time scenario?

I have been reading something that says the Talmud of Immanuel was the original Book of Mathew in Aramaic. I would like your insight into this. It makes me wonder if this is leading people to believe in the Antichrist. It seems very misleading and does not fit with the translation of the Abomination of Desolation translation.

Can you explain more about Ezek 40-47 representing the tribulation temple and not the millennial temple and the nation of Israel being in the land during the kingdom age?

I was discussing the rapture with some other guys. One of them said that (regarding 1 Thes. 4) there’s a shout and a trumpet, so how could the rapture be secret if there’s such a big fanfare right before it happens? Second, they said that John 14:2-3 could just as easily mean that we come back to earth to the New Creation in Rev. 21. It seems to me that there is a bunch of stuff being skipped over for that interpretation to work. Your thoughts?

Re: Amos 1:3-8. I have been trying to study end times prophecies in light of what is happening in the Middle East. I came across this scripture and was wondering if you have an article on this. Thank you for any insight on these scriptures.
