Seeing The Trinity After The Rapture

Published: November 1, 2010
Q

I’m a Christian and I believe the Bible is the word of God. The Bible says there is only ONE God and of course there is a trinity. My question is after the Rapture will we as Church be seeing God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost up in the Heaven? I know in the New Testament Jesus prayed to God. I’m confused because God came down in the flesh. So, where is God the whole time when Jesus was on earth? How is it possible that Jesus and God communicated with each other as there is supposed to be only ONE God. It can’t be 2 Gods talking each other!!! Follow me?

Working Out Our Salvation

Published: February 1, 2012
Q

Greetings. Paul says in Phil 2:12-13: “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed — not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence — continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”

I would like to have your comments on these two verses in regards to salvation. Currently, I am still continuing to study on this topic, your opinion on Salvation is very profound. Why was he admonishing believers to work out their salvation with fear and trembling?

Preach To Every Creature?

Published: August 5, 2012
Q

After Jesus was resurrected, he met with many, his disciples in particular. In Mark 16 verse 15, he instructs them to “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” The term “creature” just doesn’t seem to fit, why not “all mankind” as creature implies other than man. Was that passage not translated correctly?

Who Is Modern Day Israel?

Published: September 3, 2013
Q

Please help me understand the end times as they are being played out today. The most difficult thing to find out is, who is the modern day Israel ? Are we being deceived into error? Who and where are the true Jews that we are to bless and love that are God’s true people. Please try to keep it simple for me, thanks.

Why Was Paul Still Keeping The Law?

Published: September 3, 2013
Q

I came across scripture below from Acts 24:17 today as I was reading. If Paul was the Apostle to the Gentiles, and Jesus died once and his death paid the price for all of our sins, then why was there a need for Paul to make offerings at the temple? In other words, why was he still arduously keeping the law? Could you please clarify this for me? There is so much confusion with the rise of the Messianic Christian Movements and their penchant for law-keeping and this disturbed me. As a Follower of Jesus, I thought we had no need to keep the law in this manner. But after reading this scripture, I am a little confused.

How Can They Ignore Prophecy?

Published: September 2, 2013
Q

I have 3 questions regard the Pastors / teachers who willfully ignore, and even reject Bible prophecy with a spirit of contempt. 1) On what authority do these pastors assume they only have to teach the scriptures they “approve of”? 2) What does the Bible indicate will happen to the pastors / teachers who do this? 3) Is Second Timothy 3:16 suggestive, or are we to take it literally? Thanks for your valuable insight as always!

What Does God Expect?

Published: September 2, 2013
Q

My ex-husband sexually abused his daughter and stepdaughter. I know I’m supposed to forgive him and I’ve tried but when I think of him doing this I get angry and want to hurt him. I ask God to forgive me when I do this but it’s been a long time and I don’t know if I’m doing this right. He has never asked for forgiveness or admitted any wrong doing. Please advise me on what to do and what God expects of me. I am saved and have been for many years. Thank you.

A Thorn In The Flesh

Published: October 3, 2013
Q

There is something that always bothers me whenever it comes up in a discussion, and that’s Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”. Paul called his thorn in the flesh “a Messenger from Satan”. Could this messenger have been the slave girl from Acts 16:16? Thanks for your insight.

An Illustration of James 1:15

Q

James 1:15 says, “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” Could you please give me an illustration for this verse? How do you explain it? I find it not easy though it seems easy.

Was Paul The Apostle To The Gentiles?

Q

I have been asked a question I can’t answer. How and when did Paul know that he was the apostle to the Gentiles? Of course, you’ll back it up with scripture references.
