Who Will Inhabit Israel During The Millennium?

Published: January 5, 2009
Q

We know from the “sheep and goats” judgment that only “saved” humans will enter into the Kingdom. By “saved”, I mean those who accepted Jesus’ sacrifice as payment for their sins, and survived the Great Tribulation. In addition, we will have resurrected Old Testament saints and The Church.

Therefore, who is it that will be living in Israel and performing the Temple duties and sacrifices? Are we to understand that there will be Jewish believers (I assume the ones saved through the Tribulation in Petra) will revert to their Old Testament covenant practices? And if so, why? Or, do you think that Jews who are “protected” are not “saved”, but merely brought through the tribulation to be allowed to populate the Millennium?

Or, do the Old Testament saints (with David as their Prince, and including all the heroes of old) actually live as they did in the old covenant ways?

Is The US Abandoning Israel?

Published: January 5, 2009
Q

I recently read an intelligence report claiming that the US has a long term policy of abandoning Israel, in spite of what we hear. If the US turns its back on Israel, that means it will be judged by God. My question is, will the Lord protect the Church in America, or will the righteous be destroyed with the wicked? May God have mercy on us!

Becoming Unable To Defend Israel

Published: January 4, 2009
Q

I was just reading a very comprehensive newspaper article regarding the U.S.’s inextricable link economically and politically with China. I have read where you have thought that possibly the United States could be made inert militarily so as not to be able to support Israel against Iran, Iraq, and Syria as per Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 battles. Do you think that our monetary indebtedness and our political union with China could have the same affect (to be made powerless) regardless of our military powers in our failure of aligning ourselves in defense of Israel against their enemies?

Understanding Isaiah 4:1

Q

Re: Isaiah 4:I. In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, “We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace!” Pastor, how do you explain this passage?

Hebrews 6, Follow Up

Published: January 2, 2009
Q

I really enjoyed this article – but I have a question I did not see addressed. What is your opinion on backsliders? I have several adult children who professed faith in Christ as children and now are not walking with the Lord. Obviously, this causes me distress and I pray for them constantly. Are they still saved even though they have walked away and are living a sinful lifestyle?

The Lord has given me two words regarding them: “Their times are in My Hands, not yours.” and “Let them come to Me”. I know it truly is out of my control (an issue the Lord’s working on in me) :o) but it is difficult to see them unhappy in life but hardened. I have struggled with where they would go should they die prematurely. Thank you for the wonderful articles you write – they have truly been a blessing and encouragement.

A Demon Possessed Believer?

Published: January 1, 2009
Q

I have been a believer in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord since my early twenties. Off and on through out my life I have had episodes where I’ve done things and not remembered doing them. One episode was particularly bad and resulted in making trouble for me at my job. Because of it I began therapy with a psychologist who gave me a diagnosis of DDNOS. It’s not a very clear way to diagnose someone but to me it meant I have different personalities in my mind that may for short periods take over my mind and behavior. I know that some churches believe strongly that this is a form of demon possession. Jesus who was accused of being possessed stated ‘ a house divided cannot stand’ or a Christian believer who is indwelt by the Holy Spirit cannot also be possessed by a demon. I need to know what you believe about all of this and/or about multiple personality disorder. It is very hard for me to ask you this as the idea of being possessed terrifies me. Thank you as always for your help and your web site.

More On Millennial Sacrifices

Q

I found it interesting in Ezekiel that temple sacrifices will once again take place during the millennial age. Since Christ died once and for all and His work is finished, why are there temple sacrifices again?

The Anti-Christ And Mr. Obama, Follow Up.

Published: December 28, 2008
Q

I have read with great displeasure as you and some others have perpetuate this idea that Mr. Obama is the anti-Christ. We do not yet know what tomorrow will bring. However, if you want me to take you seriously, will you promise on your website that if after 4 or 8 years Mr. Obama has not become the anti-Christ you insinuate he may be you will give an unreserved apology to him.

Who Are The Netzari?

Published: December 26, 2008
Q

I have only recently became aware of a group called the Netzari. From what I have read it looks like they are trying to follow the law and live under grace at the same time. I dont see how that is possible. What do you make of this group of people?
