Rapture On The Feast Of Trumpets?

Published: December 15, 2007
Q

Your website is great. I fully expect something major to happen before President Bush leaves office-the Rapture of the Church-Ezekiel 38. I have heard (a well known prophecy teacher) say that he believes the rapture will take place during the Feast of the Trumpets, which would probably be September 2008. I certainly believe that it could occur at any time. What are your thoughts regarding the Feast of Trumpets theory?

The EU And The 10 Horns Of Daniel 7

Published: December 14, 2007
Q

As you know, biblical prophecy is a great evangelistic tool. It presents relevance to the skeptic. What’s difficult for me when discussing the EU as a fulfillment of prophecy is trying to spin the “Ten Horns” into a 27 nation confederacy? If the Anti-Christ rules over the entire world (not just the EU) then how does that fit into a revived Rome? Rome did not rule over Japan or Canada or the U.S., for that matter. Who and where are the ten nations? You’d think they would have surfaced by now as a specific group and not just a symbol.

Is All This True?

Q

I read that Russian Pres. Putin has ordered Russian forces to a first strike alert status over the Kosovo situation. He has said that Russia will not permit the Serbian province of Kosovo to declare independence as the West intends. The article further states that America’s real goal is to prompt a war with Russia and not Iran. That plus the coming bird flu epidemic and collapse of the US economy will usher in the One World Government. Is all this true?

Sacrifice In The Millennium

Published: December 13, 2007
Q

In the book of Ezekiel, I have been reading the detailed account of the Millennial Temple’s measurements and the specific instructions regarding all types of offerings.

I understand the importance of reminding the Jewish people of the sacrifice of Yeshua through symbolism, but why is it to be extensively practiced when our LORD will be walking among and ruling over them in righteousness?

Please share your insights on why the sacrificial system will be restored for the Jews to follow during the Millenial reign of Christ.

Which Comes First, Isaiah 17 Or Ezekiel 38?

Published: December 13, 2007
Q

I just read your Dec. 9 commentary update of the Annapolis Conference, and I am trying to put things in proper order, like a prophecy jigsaw puzzle if you will. Should not Isaiah 17 on the prophecy about Damascus be fulfilled before the war mentioned in Ezekiel38?

When will Israel be living in peace, as mentioned in Ezekiel 38, after the prophecy about Damascus or before? Or, will the destruction of Damascus and the Ezekiel war occur one after the other? Any thought of how the scenario will come to play?

Does He Know Who He Is?

Published: December 11, 2007
Q

My question is whether the anti Christ realizes that he is the anti Christ. Do you think it possible this man at any time made a deal with the devil for power even if short lived? Thanks again so much for all your help with the Scriptures.

The Temple Institute

Q

Thank you so much for your dedication to teaching God’s word.

Could you give me your opinion on what is happening with The Temple Institute regarding end time prophecy? How or will this tie into the rebuilding of the 3rd Temple?

What’s The Jewish Interpretation Of Daniel 9?

Published: December 8, 2007
Q

Thank you for this wonderful ministry. My question concerns Daniel’s 70 weeks and especially the last week of future prophecy. What is the Jewish interpretation of the 70 weeks, especially the last week, and how does it differ from the Christian perspective?

Is Israel Still Part Of God’s Plan?

Published: December 8, 2007
Q

Not sure how to ask this question. I suppose I’ve always believed Israel was God’s land and somehow is and one day be again His chosen. I’ve recently discovered I’ve been blissfully unaware of other ways of interpretation such as allegory especially related to prophecy.

My problem is that I still believe Israel is entitled to their land as it relates to the promise to Abraham and that it will figure into the end time scenario but yet discussing it with those of other views I’m having a hard time justifying it. Anything one brings up in the O.T is somehow proved to have already been fulfilled even though it looks to be future. Israel IS still in God’s plan as far as a land and a Remnant in the last days, right?

I feel I need to be clear on this because I think that the way one believes about Israel dictates how one needs to view the current politics surrounding the land. I’ve always just read the Bible as any other book, plain sense when makes sense etc and Israel is so integral to the Word that I just can’t see anything other than Modern day Israel is there because it is prophesied in the Word. Am I wrong?

Who’s On Earth During The Millennium?

Published: December 7, 2007
Q

I have a question about Isaiah 65:17-25. I know that Isaiah 65:1-16 is about Israel and their rebellion against God, but a friend told me that verses 17-25 are not about Israel, but about the people who will inhabit the earth after the Tribulation, not necessarily Israel. We are having a discussion about who exactly will inhabit the earth at that time.

The question also arises that the raptured Church won’t actually live in heaven, in mansions, but will live on the earth. So, in a nutshell: (1)who lives on the earth after the Tribulation, but before satan is released for 1,000 years, (2) who will live in heaven and will there be mansions, and (3) who will populate the earth after Satan is released?
