Confrontation With Syria?
Published: January 21, 2015 (Originally published: August 1, 2006)From the Israeli side there are some that are able to see that indeed Israel will have to attack Syria with some extreme right-wing Zionists insisting that the sooner this is done the better.
Efraim Inbar, for example, an Israeli academic with neoconservative connections in the US and who advises the Israeli government, told Aljazeera.net “I advocate attacking Syria – to some extent we are wasting ammunition in Lebanon.” When asked if the peace process is now dead he replied, “Forget about it, it’s over.” Whether or not Inbar was privy to the Israeli government’s long term plans to attack Lebanon is not known, though, had he had any input to such planning, he would clearly have advocated taking on Syria as well or attacking Syria directly.
Daniel’s 70 Weeks
Published: July 22, 2006 (Originally published: July 22, 2006)Why are the first 69 of Daniel’s 70 weeks split into two parts of 7 and 62, respectively? Is there any significance with regard to that split? In other words, why isn’t it just mentioned as 69 weeks? I can’t help thinking there may be some significance, particularly with the number 7.
The Destruction Of Damascus
Published: July 24, 2006 (Originally published: July 24, 2006)Hal Lindsey wrote an article where he confirms your earlier prediction about the destruction of Damascus happening prior to the Rapture.
My question is, if Damascus is destroyed by Israel, how can the Ezekiel 38 come to pass, as Israel is described as a city without walls, etc? Does this have to do with the anti-Christ’s peace accord? Somehow Israel must think that nobody will bother them. At the present time, Russia, Iran, and Syria have made a pact. How could Israel not see Ezekiel 38 coming a mile away?
The Beginning Of The End?
Published: July 24, 2006 (Originally published: July 24, 2006)I have learned a lot from your website and have another question for you.
With all of the events happening in Israel right now, do you think this is the ‘beginning of the end’ and that we should be following it closely? I have heard people say that it will set off the end time course of events. What is your take on this? Will all of this blow over or is this something that is quite serious with end time prophecy?
Thanks for your time and all you do!
How Many Christians Are There?
Published: July 24, 2006 (Originally published: July 24, 2006)I have a question relating to the reported size of the New Kingdom or new earth that the Church will inhabit. You stated that it will be 1400 miles tall and wide. The way I see it is that it is not very big. Perhaps close to 1/8 the size of the earth? But from other descriptions there is also supposed to be plenty of room for everyone.
I guess what I am getting at is that it seems to me that this all appears to look like there won’t be all that many people that make it there. Are there really that few born again Christians in the world?
Also, where does this measure come from? I ask this question only because when I tell people this they question where this is found in the Bible. You and your website have been such a blessing-solid-honest- everything I have looked for to go along with my own studies. Thank you and may God Bless You for your efforts.
What About Lebanon?
Published: July 24, 2006 (Originally published: July 24, 2006)I thought I’d do a search on Lebanon in the Bible. Aside from the many verses that speak of the beauty, trees, and smell of Lebanon, etc., there are about 10 that seem to portend trouble for the little country. We would enjoy whatever commentary you wish to make.
False Peace
Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)I agree with one of your recent writings about a “period of peace” coming after this current war, and probably, before Ezk. 38-39. When questioned by his disciples about His return, Jesus said, “it will come at an hour when ye think not” as translated in some bibles. When our wallets and bank accounts are full, when we perceive that the world is doing just fine, with no threats, and we go about our day to day living – do you feel in your spirit that this “false period” of peace as foretold just prior to Ezk. 38-39 could be precisely what Jesus was referring to?
Thanks for being there for those of us who are thirsty and hungry!
Tyre And Sidon
Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)After hearing the cities, “Tyre and Sidon”, mentioned several times in recent news, I looked them up to see where they fit in the end times scenario. I read your response to the Lebanon question but I was wondering if the scriptures in Ezekiel 27 and 28 are dual fulfillment prophesies…as both cities still exist and are not “under water”.
I also wondered if the “two branches” mentioned in Ezekiel 37 could be taken as the Jews and Gentiles??? Thank you for your insight.
Timing Of The Rapture
Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)At what time in bible prophecy does the rapture take place? Is it when the peace treaty with the anti-Christ is signed, the battle of Ezekiel 38-39 or when?
Also does Israel need to be living in an assumed state of peace like I Thessalonians ch 5:3 states?
Earth And Mars
Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)Could Planet Mars being so close to the Earth in the next month or 2 be a sign of anything to come. Experts are saying it will be able to be seen with the naked eye. They say it will be as big as what a full moon looks like. Not as bright obviously. To call Mars the war planet,is that a stretch in Mythology?
