False Peace

Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)
Q

I agree with one of your recent writings about a “period of peace” coming after this current war, and probably, before Ezk. 38-39. When questioned by his disciples about His return, Jesus said, “it will come at an hour when ye think not” as translated in some bibles. When our wallets and bank accounts are full, when we perceive that the world is doing just fine, with no threats, and we go about our day to day living – do you feel in your spirit that this “false period” of peace as foretold just prior to Ezk. 38-39 could be precisely what Jesus was referring to?

Thanks for being there for those of us who are thirsty and hungry!

Tyre And Sidon

Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)
Q

After hearing the cities, “Tyre and Sidon”, mentioned several times in recent news, I looked them up to see where they fit in the end times scenario. I read your response to the Lebanon question but I was wondering if the scriptures in Ezekiel 27 and 28 are dual fulfillment prophesies…as both cities still exist and are not “under water”.

I also wondered if the “two branches” mentioned in Ezekiel 37 could be taken as the Jews and Gentiles??? Thank you for your insight.

Timing Of The Rapture

Q

At what time in bible prophecy does the rapture take place? Is it when the peace treaty with the anti-Christ is signed, the battle of Ezekiel 38-39 or when?

Also does Israel need to be living in an assumed state of peace like I Thessalonians ch 5:3 states?

Earth And Mars

Published: July 26, 2006 (Originally published: July 26, 2006)
Q

Could Planet Mars being so close to the Earth in the next month or 2 be a sign of anything to come. Experts are saying it will be able to be seen with the naked eye. They say it will be as big as what a full moon looks like. Not as bright obviously. To call Mars the war planet,is that a stretch in Mythology?

A Question On Isaiah 17

Published: July 15, 2006 (Originally published: July 15, 2006)
Q

In Isaiah CH. 17 it says that nations will rush like the rushing of many waters. This alliance of nations, who are they? What battle is this referring to after Damascus is destroyed? If nations rush it must be somewhat of a pretty sizable battle. God bless you for helping us Saints out. To a believer, this website means a lot.

Another Isaiah 17 Question

Published: July 15, 2006 (Originally published: July 15, 2006)
Q

Thank God, Jack, for your Website because it is helping lots of brothers and sisters out there, including me, who are thirsty for the word of God.

Do you believe this event has something to do with the prophecy of Damascus and if so; in your opinion is it before the rapture or after the rapture? I feel excited in the sense that the coming of our Lord is near and at the same time I feel anxious because I am not that good servant.

Is Isaiah 17 is also talking about the damage in Israel as well? And if so do you the think it will only take few years for this to come to the tribulation; please make your answers long and please cover more details on this. By the way I am here in Saudi Arabia.

Is Michael The Restrainer?

Published: July 16, 2006 (Originally published: July 16, 2006)
Q

First let me thank you for providing such a great website. What a wealth of info you have for us here! I’ve been greatly blessed by reading and studying, and am currently enjoying your Revelation Studies.

My question is: Is Michael the Restrainer? I had always been taught that the Holy Spirit was the Restrainer, but recently I read that Michael was the restrainer. They referenced Daniel 12:1 in support of this. Here’s their quote.

This statement in the Bible tells us without doubt that it is not the Holy Spirit who restrains. Daniel 12:1;

At that time, Michael, prince and guardian of your people, shall arise. (remove his protection) It shall be a time unsurpassed in distress. At that time your people shall escape.

In 2 Thess. 2:7 it says, There is one who holds him back (the lawless one) until he be TAKEN out of the way.

The Holy Spirit is God and no one will TAKE him out of the way. But Michael, guardian of the people, is a created being under the command of GOD and can be taken or commanded to remove his protection. (End of quote.)

I don’t agree with this as in regards to Michael being the restrainer, but I’m not sure how to answer the person who made the above statement. I hope you can help me out.

What Happens To Earth People After The Millennium?

Published: July 16, 2006 (Originally published: July 16, 2006)
Q

Hi! Thank you for such a great website. My question is this. The people who become believers during the tribulation will go into the millennium and reproduce etc. What happens to them and their children during and after the 1000 years? Are they transformed into heavenly bodies after the 1000 years? Are their children automatically believers after the reach the age of accountability? Where are those of us who have been raptured kept during the 1000 year reign?

I get so confused about all of this. Thanks so much for your time and work. I really hope you are able to reply.

Pre Trib Or Post Trib?

Published: July 18, 2006 (Originally published: July 18, 2006)
Q

I have visiting your website for about six months now and have learned a tremendous amount about the Bible. I have been telling friends and family about your website and your views on end times.

The family that actual lead me to the Lord about four years ago, whom I would consider to be a very strong God-fearing and Bible literate family (Whom you would also call a Futurist), says that there are scriptures for both a post Tribulation and Pre Tribulation Rapture. Their mindset is to just be ready for what ever God has. They reason that God can do anything and at anytime–We just need to “be prepared.”

In addition, they say that they have heard sermons with just as compelling scriptures as you have given but for a Post Tribulation Rapture. I know that you disagree with a post Tribulation Rapture but I am sure that you know many people who believe in it. Which scriptures seem to cause people to lean the other way? Do you think there are scriptures supporting both post Tribulation and Pre Tribulation Rapture?

The Holy Spirit In Tribulation Times

Published: July 19, 2006 (Originally published: July 19, 2006)
Q

Thank you, so much for answering questions, this website has actually been my only source to God’s Word for a long time now (other than my Bible). I have so many questions floating around in my head and I will try to find the answers in your articles. The one that doesn’t seem to be answered by any of your articles, however, is one of the restraints on Satan’s Power. If Satan is restrained by the Holy Spirit, and that the only way he can completely have dominion over the earth is for that restraint to go, then are the believers after the Rapture not sealed with the Holy Spirit? It seems odd that the post-rapture believers, whose number will be more than any in the history of man, will not have the same or greater affect than the current believers who must be Raptured for Satan to come into the world. Is there any scripture supporting or denying anything about this or do we just not know? Keep up the good work, and may God bless you in every endeavor.
