Ridiculous Teaching About Satan?

Published: February 5, 2011 (Originally published: February 4, 2011)
Q

I have read many of Jack Kelley’s writings and have learned from him but this article of lifting up Satan really frosts my cake. When Jack said Satan is given a position of respect in the kingdom of God and even Michael didn’t dare accuse him I have no idea what Jack was thinking. The scripture is full of accusation against Satan and that is especially true in the New Testament. I think Jack you must apologize for this idiocy or face being discredited big time. This idea of if Michael couldn’t accuse Satan then we must not accuse Satan is ridiculous. To cast out a devil is making an accusation wouldn’t you think? If Satan appears as an angel of light as Paul said, isn’t that an accusation?

Am I Slandering Satan?

Published: February 7, 2011 (Originally published: February 6, 2011)
Q

Often times I realize that Satan has invaded my life and is manipulating me. When I come to this realization, I stop what I’m doing and say: “Satan, get out of my life. Go jump in that lake of fire and don’t come back.” Sometimes I’ll say: “Dear Jesus please help me get Satan out of here.” I don’t consider what I’m saying as slander; do you? By the way, why do we show Satan the respect that we do by capitalizing the name “Satan?”

After The Tribulation

Published: January 29, 2011 (Originally published: January 28, 2011)
Q

I have heard that after the tribulation, people who have become Christians will enter eternity as mortal people and will continue to live mortal lives, being sustained by the tree of life. New life will be perpetual in this sense. If this is not true, how are they changed or transformed after the tribulation?

Unrest In Egypt

Published: February 1, 2011 (Originally published: January 31, 2011)
Q

I have been reading several news articles this morning about how the situation in Egypt has serious implications for Israel. With pressure building on their northern borders with Hezbollah now there is a possibility of having an even greater foe forming on their southern border with much more advanced military capabilities. How does Egypt play into the upcoming events and what does the Word of God say concerning Egypt?

Signs Of Judgment?

Published: January 20, 2011 (Originally published: January 19, 2011)
Q

It seems some end-times pundits are pondering the rash of animal deaths. They point to Hosea 4:3 and Zephaniah 1:3 with some speculation that God may be beginning His judgment on America. I have to admit that some of these do seem strange especially 200 cows in Wisconsin dying at about the same time. I respect your opinion and wonder if you’d be willing to add some thoughts regarding these scriptures?

2300 Or 1150?

Published: January 21, 2011 (Originally published: January 20, 2011)
Q

I’ve listened to your MP3 Bible study on the Book of Daniel. I’m not a mathematician and therefore have a problem understanding how you came up with 1150 days by dividing 2300 evenings and 2300 mornings. In the New King James version it is describe as 2300 days ( Lit. evening – morning). I understand that from the creation, God and Israel go by starting the day from sunset to the next sunset. 1 evening + 1 morning is 1 day.

Bible Prophecy

Q

When studying prophetic books of the OT is there an easy way to know which prophecies have already been fulfilled in the past and which have not if its not real obvious, without being a history buff or theologian? Do Bible dictionaries and commentaries help with that? Any suggestions?

Eternal Life For The Jews

Published: January 24, 2011 (Originally published: January 23, 2011)
Q

You say the Jews will live in the Millennium under the Messiah, and then go on to their eternal destiny in what we call Israel. Will these Jews have eternal life? Will they go to Heaven when they die if they are faithful to Messiah? You say their fate is different from the Church, but do they have eternal life, or is that not stated?
