Dinner With God
Published: June 2, 2010In Exodus 24:9-11, we are told that Moses, Aaron and 70 elders of Israel saw God and ate with him. I know that no man can see God and live so I’m assuming they saw His glory. My question is what is the significance of this? It’s almost like a footnote in scripture, but it seems amazing to me that God would fellowship with them in this manner.
What’s Turkey Up To?
Published: June 1, 2010Thanks so much for continuing to answer our questions from a Biblical viewpoint. Is the recent incident in which Israeli naval commandos stormed a flotilla of ships headed for the Gaza Strip a major turning point in prophecy? Sounds to me like Turkey is taking sides with the Palestinians now. What are your thoughts on this?
Praying For Family
Published: May 31, 2010Something has been troubling me for some time now. It concerns our obedience to 2 Tim. 3: 1-5. I realize we must obey God’s will for our life, so what if the subjects this passage describes happen to be family members? Are we to have nothing to do with them if they fall into these categories? Those whom I am thinking of have repeatedly defied God, and parents as well, who have admonished them lovingly and gently for so long. We all offer prayers for them, but as our time here on Earth grows short, I must confess, our hopes for them have taken a real beating. What God-breathed wisdom can you share with our family?
Was Psalm 83 Already Fulfilled?
Published: May 30, 2010I recently watched a prophecy study about Ps. 83, and the teacher mentioned that Ps. 83 was a commemorative to 2nd Chron, where Jehosophat prayed to the Lord. He did later however mention that in the first two chapters of Amos, that all these nations were mentioned again. Could you clarify these two points for me please? Is Ps. 83 a future event or not? I’ve heard your answer about this already, but don’t understand the 2nd Chroncles 20:1-20 reference.
More On The Two Witnesses
Published: May 29, 2010With regard to the two witnesses discussed in Revelation 11, I’ve heard, and even believed myself, it will most likely be a combination of Moses and either Elijah or Enoch. However, I got to pondering the rapture of Elijah and Enoch and realized, no one can enter heaven without first exchanging the corruptible for the incorruptible and mortal into immortality. Since Elijah and Enoch both would have been transformed before entering heaven, they would be immortal, and therefore, not be able to be killed by the anti-Christ during the tribulation. Could it possibly be that the two witnesses spoken of are merely men God will raise up during that time?
Is There Enough Time?
Published: May 27, 2010I have read all your articles on your site pertaining to the End Times Time-Table. My question concerns your 2018 date. Backing up 7 years for the Tribulation, how does your time table give enough time for what we know must yet take place ?
Tribulation Children
Published: May 25, 2010I am concerned about the little children who are conceived after the Rapture. I know Jesus will return before they reach an age of accountability, so their salvation is assured. But I worry about what their lives will be like during the 70th week, and especially during the Great Tribulation.
Is there anything in scripture to suggest that those innocent little ones will receive some form of divine protection/consolation to minimize their suffering during that period? Will the merciful and loving God “see to their well-being” in some way; even if it is by removing them quickly to His presence?
More On Pre-Born Babies And The Rapture
Published: May 25, 2010In regards to the article ‘Pre-born babies in the rapture’. First Rom. 7:9 says nothing about the age of accountability that I can tell. And you said that you think that babies still in the womb of unbelieving mothers would be taken in the rapture, at the moment of the rapture. Am I correct in believing this is what you said? That could be seen as a whole lot of self induced abortions. Thank you for clarifying this for me.
Pregnant Women And Nursing Mothers
Published: May 24, 2010Thanks for taking the time to read my question. I think I read somewhere on your website that babies unborn and children under the age of accountability would be raptured. But Luke 21:23 says: How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. What is your take on this verse?
Locating The New Jerusalem, Again
Published: May 24, 2010You answered a question about Tending The Tree of Life, in which you made a statement that the New Jerusalem will not be on Earth. Can you clarify this?
