OSAS Testimony

Published: May 19, 2006
Q

Your answer to the sister about her deceased brother being safe in his salvation, although married to an unbeliever (muslim) was right on. I did the same, and it took more than 10 years for me to hear the Good Shepherd call my name. It has taken a year to restore all my previously held knowledge,to repent and to walk in faith, but now I see many times of God’s grace, when He could have just let me go. I feel I’m living proof of OSAS-once saved always saved.

Feedback On “Relationship Problems”

Published: May 18, 2006
Q

I am very surprised at your reply to “Relationship Problems” in Ask a Bible Teacher. As I understand the letter, this woman is not only in an unequally yoked relationship but she is living a sinful lifestyle by living with this man outside of marriage.

Gal 5:19-21 says that those who practice fornication, which is sex outside of marriage, will not inherit the kingdom of God. How does this woman’s situation differ from that of a homosexual couple who “in their hearts are married”? They are both sin, and willfully continuing in that sin will keep them from the kingdom of God as I understand the scripture.

While I agree with your counsel for her to live separately and remain chaste, I think you mislead her (and your audience) when you said that the Lord sees unmarried couples as married as long as their motives are right.

Also I don’t believe Rom 8:28 applies to this situation because of the last phrase, “…according to His purpose.” I don’t believe this woman is currently living according to God’s purpose or perfect plan for her life.

I really enjoy your site and have recommended it to others. I trust that you will receive my feedback as just that, feedback and not criticism. I encourage you to prayerfully reconsider your answer to this woman.

Is The Anti Christ Muslim?

Published: May 13, 2006
Q

Thank you so much for offering this forum for us all to explore our questions with more depth! It has been a blessing.

I am wondering where the belief that the Antichrist arises from a Roman background originated and also what is the biblical basis for the possibility of him being Muslim? Thanks.

Can Nephilim Be Saved?

Published: May 10, 2006
Q

I’m loving the new column “Ask a Bible Teacher.” From the response you’re receiving I think I’m not alone.

My question regards the Nephilim. Are these “hybrids” without a soul and therefore condemned from birth? Since they are partially human genetically, is there an opportunity for salvation for them or their ancestry, for instance Goliath (obviously he was not a believer but someone like him)?

Info On The Author, Please

Q

Could you provide a little background information on yourself? I am wondering if you are formally trained in scripture or self-educated; if you have worked as a pastor/minister or if your on-line ministry is and always has been your focus.

Have you always been a christian, or did you come to Christ later in your life?

God has given you such wonderful gifts of understanding, insight and clarity that are of such benefit to all of us who have found your website.

Animal Sacrifices In The Millennium?

Published: May 5, 2006
Q

Where in the Bible does it say there will be animal sacrifices in the millennium? I have looked and can not find that anywhere. I thought that the anti Christ would allow the Jews to sacrifice in their temple when he allows them to rebuild it until the first 3 1/2 years is up and he proclaims himself as God and then requires them to worship him. I thought during the 1000 year reign Jesus would not require animal sacrifices. Your insight on this would be appreciated.

Where’s The World Financial Crisis?

Published: April 30, 2006
Q

In February of this year, you referenced an article by The Laboratoire Europeen d’Anticipation Politique / Europe 2020 (LEAP), regarding the coming of a world wide crisis. We were frowned upon by many of our friends… as this being something of hype. Are you able to determine is this actually ever occurred and if there are any recent updates regarding it? Thank you so much!

How Can The Anti Christ Be Moslem?

Published: April 27, 2006
Q

In your article “The Four Horsemen, al Mahdi, and the Magnetic Polar Reversal” you state that the antichrist might come out of the religion of Islam. Even though I think it’s highly possible my problem is this. If the Gog/Magog war precedes the Tribulation like you believe (and so do I) and the Moslem armies are destroyed, wouldn’t that make Islam become irrelevant?

I can’t see anybody from that point forward thinking that the religion of Islam has any credibility left. Why would Allah cause his believers to be annihilated only to come back and see the Jewish temple rebuilt? I could see all Islamic peoples losing faith and seeing the true power of the God of Israel. That’s the point of the war, to make everybody see that the God of Israel still exists. This doesn’t mean they come to see Christ as savior, only that the God of Israel is the true God.

I’m still leaning toward the false prophet coming out of the House of Israel and the Antichrist coming out of the Gentile Romans. How do you think it might work out that the Mahdi might be the Antichrist or that this figure embraces Islam considering they lose the war? I would think this would put Judaism at the top of its game.

Not All Environmentalists Are Pagans!

Published: April 21, 2006
Q

I just recently discovered your website. You have helped me to really understand Bible prophecy. I have very much enjoyed reading your articles, until I came to “The Watchman.” I have been a Christian my whole life, but I am also a staunch animal rights activist and environmentalist and was very insulted when I read your comment about “pagan environmentalists.” How dare you make a sweeping generalization of this nature! There are many people like me who are concerned for the environment and all of its inhabitants and are also Christians.

Why is it “pagan” to be an animal rights activist and environmentalist? Do you really think that God approves of the way that humans have treated the land and the animals that he gave us? Were we not told to be the stewards of the animals? I love all of God’s creatures, and I am no more pagan than you are. I will continue to fight for animals and the environment until the Rapture happens, or I die. You might want to refrain from making generalizations like that, you could actually lose some people to whom you are ministering — isn’t that also what racists do?!!!
