Doesn’t Babylon have to be re-established as an economic super power before the rapture can occur? The way I understand it, the world will mourn the loss of Babylon when it is destroyed which indicates it would be similar in stature to New York or London. This would indicate the rapture being further out in time versus imminent since building the city into something significant would take many years from this point. I am eager to know what your thoughts are on this.

The scriptures speak mostly of the physical elements of life in the New Jerusalem and nothing about how we will relate to each other. Different books have shown our new home as physical and real, more real than this one, if that can be imagined. But here is where I am coming from. I lost a woman that I loved some time ago and even though I know I will see her again, will our relationship be the same or can it be? We were in love, and I want that again and not some combination of best friends/siblings/soul mates. Frankly, that kind of relationship is not enough for me. I want my wife back and, and I mean no disrespect, but if we are together as ‘friends’ only, then Heaven has lost some of its luster.

When Jesus returns to carry away His bride, will all the Jews be called away as well, or only the 144,00 spoken of in the Bible?

I receive emails that say that in America the religious and non-religious will be micro chipped within the next three years. This could include information for fitness, medical, banking, no cash payments, etc. Is this something that involves “the Mark of the beast”? Or does the “Mark”, as quoted in the Bible, have to include rejecting Christ and the Bible? With all the new technology out there, what is your view on being micro-chipped for anything?

I always thought iniquity and sin were the same thing. Recently I was informed that they are different. Could you please help me to understand this difference through scripture.

My question relates to the day in which we recognize the resurrection of Christ. In one or two articles you say that Christ rose again on the Sunday after Passover. There is a problem with that because Passover jumps to different days on our Gregorian calendar. Do you say that it is the Sunday after Passover in order to keep it simple for those who don’t know?

How did the practice of marrying more than one wife come about since Jesus said marriage is between one woman and one man. We are studying the story of Leah and Rachel and its bugging me that Jacob married more than one woman. When/why did this practice stop?

It’s interesting that the “L in “ISIL” (the name by which the al-Qaeda group originally called themselves, and by which our current administration still refers to them) stands for “Levant”, which incorporates the countries (Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and Jordan, along with portions of southern Turkey and the Sinai peninsula) that are indicated in Psalm 83.

I’m sure it’s just one more of those “chasing prophecy with headlines” things, but it does make you wonder if IS going to eventually stage an attack on Israel that results in the Psalm 83 prophecy being fulfilled?

Hope this won’t sound frivolous. During the Tribulation; it will take a day’s wages to buy a one day supply of food. How will people be able to pay for their other expenses? (Rent, mortgages, utilities, gasoline, etc.)
