More On Taking “The Mark”
Published: September 13, 2014 (Originally published: September 13, 2014)I receive emails that say that in America the religious and non-religious will be micro chipped within the next three years. This could include information for fitness, medical, banking, no cash payments, etc. Is this something that involves “the Mark of the beast”? Or does the “Mark”, as quoted in the Bible, have to include rejecting Christ and the Bible? With all the new technology out there, what is your view on being micro-chipped for anything?
Sin and Iniquity
Published: September 3, 2014 (Originally published: September 3, 2014)I always thought iniquity and sin were the same thing. Recently I was informed that they are different. Could you please help me to understand this difference through scripture.
Passover And FirstFruits
Published: September 3, 2014 (Originally published: September 3, 2014)My question relates to the day in which we recognize the resurrection of Christ. In one or two articles you say that Christ rose again on the Sunday after Passover. There is a problem with that because Passover jumps to different days on our Gregorian calendar. Do you say that it is the Sunday after Passover in order to keep it simple for those who don’t know?
Monogamous Marriage?
Published: September 5, 2014 (Originally published: September 4, 2014)How did the practice of marrying more than one wife come about since Jesus said marriage is between one woman and one man. We are studying the story of Leah and Rachel and its bugging me that Jacob married more than one woman. When/why did this practice stop?
ISIL And Psalm 83?
Published: September 4, 2014 (Originally published: September 4, 2014)It’s interesting that the “L in “ISIL” (the name by which the al-Qaeda group originally called themselves, and by which our current administration still refers to them) stands for “Levant”, which incorporates the countries (Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and Jordan, along with portions of southern Turkey and the Sinai peninsula) that are indicated in Psalm 83.
I’m sure it’s just one more of those “chasing prophecy with headlines” things, but it does make you wonder if IS going to eventually stage an attack on Israel that results in the Psalm 83 prophecy being fulfilled?
A Day’s Wages For A Loaf Of Bread?
Published: September 5, 2014 (Originally published: September 4, 2014)Hope this won’t sound frivolous. During the Tribulation; it will take a day’s wages to buy a one day supply of food. How will people be able to pay for their other expenses? (Rent, mortgages, utilities, gasoline, etc.)
Re: Gog and Magog War
Published: September 5, 2014 (Originally published: September 5, 2014)When this happens the Jews will be burying bodies for seven months and burning weapons for seven years, according to scripture. Would these scriptures not indicate that this war would have to happen before the Rapture? They could not be burning weapons during the entire seven year tribulation because in the last 3 1/2 years, they will have to flee for their lives and will be under great persecution. I cannot see them taking the time to burn weapons during the Great Tribulation because God will be protecting them in Petra. So many things will be happening during the last 3 1/2 years, I just can’t see how they could burn weapons for the entire tribulation period.
Interpreting Bible Verses
Published: September 6, 2014 (Originally published: September 5, 2014)Is it correct thinking to take any verse from the Bible and apply it to ourselves. For example, I have friends who love Jeremiah 29:11 saying it gives them great hope. But if I understand it correctly this verse was written to Israel during the Babylonian captivity. It seems like they’re taking a message out of context and applying it to themselves in an effort to make themselves feel better. I know there are verses in the New Testament which are written to the Gentile church, but can all Bible verses be applied to anyone?
God In A Man’s Body
Published: September 5, 2014 (Originally published: September 5, 2014)I comprehend your view that the Lord became a man for all time. However, I wonder if He can discorporate at will and function like a spirit (whatever form He used to have). What if Jesus resides mainly in human form but can voluntarily set it aside to do important work or something?
How Can We Prepare For This?
Published: September 6, 2014 (Originally published: September 6, 2014)There has been much speculation on the next horrific attack to hit the U.S. I have heard from more that a few sources, some are Christian, that the borders remain open to welcome terrorists and their weapons into major cities with the goal of annihilating millions and thereby fulfilling the power structure’s intention to reduce world population. Is any of this Biblical for the US and will it precede the Rapture? I understand the military and political leaders have underground cities designed to survive such an attack but the rest of us are sitting ducks. How could one possibly prepare for something this catastrophic?
