What Happened To The Lord’s Body?

Q

If God does not resurrect our original bodies, what happened to Jesus’ original body during his resurrection? I could never figure that one out.

Q

I want to sincerely thank you again for your Web site, and for all the work you are doing for the Lord. You are reaching literally untold millions with the truth. Praise the Lord! I would like your thoughts on the recent outbreak of Palestinian unrest in Jerusalem. Is it of any biblical significance? It seems like Jerusalem and Israel are always under an extreme threat from all nations, including the US

Will I Also Be Perfect In Appearance?

Published: March 29, 2010 (Originally published: March 28, 2010)
Q

I come from a family where the women have big hips and some are just plain fat all over. I am over weight and I know the Lord wants us to take care of our bodies. My question may be insignificant to some but to me it is important. I have had to deal with being made fun of when I was over weight and then had to deal with negative comments for my wide hips when I was at my perfect weight. No matter if I was fat or skinny I always had negative comments made about my shape. So, when I get to heaven is God going to give me a perfect shaped body? Or will I still look like an hour glass that was blown up a little to much. I know I shouldn’t even worry about that but after being treated this way it would be nice to finally be proportioned positively.

Son Of God

Published: March 29, 2010 (Originally published: March 28, 2010)
Q

Since Jesus is God, why does God refer to Him as His Son? Even though I believe that They are one, I’ve never really understood the fact that They are one, yet separate, that Jesus was born as a man but also existed WITH the Father before the creation of the earth. I just wish that it would click in my mind so that I could truly understand. I’m afraid that if a nonbeliever were to ask me about these things, I wouldn’t really know how to answer them. How can I try to convince someone of something that I myself don’t really understand? I pray that God will clarify this for me through your answer.

Severe Persecution In The Future?

Published: March 31, 2015 (Originally published: March 29, 2010)
Q

Re: Your commentary on Psalm 7. Could you please explain in more detail exactly what you are referring to in the US? Are there some laws coming down that we are not aware of? Are you speaking of the tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week) or are you talking here and now before the Rapture? I certainly agree that there is no end to ALL kinds of problems on the horizon but I’m confused about the severe persecution comments, at least in the “near future” as you have indicated for the U.S. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

They Should Have Confessed

Published: March 30, 2010 (Originally published: March 29, 2010)
Q

My question centers around the “original” sin as well as Cain and Abel. Was the sin in each of these circumstances the obvious ones, ie; Adam/Eve eating the apple, Cain murdering Abel? Or the more subtle one, God knew what they had done in both instances and gave them an opportunity to admit it and they instead denied their guilt. When confronted by God Adam immediately blamed Eve, and when God asked Cain where is your brother, what have you done?, Cain replied “I am not my brother’s keeper”. Was it the sin or the denial that got them into trouble with God?

More On The Parable Of The Mustard Seed

Published: September 3, 2024 (Originally published: March 30, 2010)
Q

I’ve read many postings on your site and appreciate them greatly. But I’m surprised at your interpretation of the Mustard Seed Parable. There are different “birds” mentioned in the various passages of the Bible; the little birds is akin to sparrows–you will find that God uses the sparrows to indicate His care for us both in the NT and in Psalms. David writes of them finding “rest” in the courts of the temple–as he refers to the godly finding rest in the Lords Temple. I’m surprised that this common interpretation is quickly accepted, without folks discriminating between the various types of birds: little birds and predators.

What About Jews Who Died in The Holocaust?

Published: April 1, 2010 (Originally published: March 31, 2010)
Q

I’m wondering if Jewish people were saved with Jesus through their Holocaust by the Nazis in 1930’s to 1945?” I know that God had a plan for Jews who were holocaust by Nazi before Israel was reborn on may 15, 1948! I hope so because the Jews are the children of God and the Bible shows that is fulfilled with the re-birth of Israel on May 15, 1948!

I Will Bless Those Who Bless You, Follow Up

Published: April 1, 2010 (Originally published: March 31, 2010)
Q

I just read your article “I Will Bless Those Who Bless You.” I have always been fascinated by the swift punishment from the Lord after harsh dealings with Israel. Given the shoddy treatment of Netanyahu this week, should we expect another physical blow to our country? Or was the passage of the health care bill enough? That law will do more economic damage to our country than all of the previous natural disasters combined. Do you see US-Israel relations healing at all in the near future or are we at that point where we have cast them aside and Israel truly is alone in this world?

Has She Lost Her Salvation?

Published: May 23, 2014 (Originally published: March 20, 2010)
Q

My 20 year old niece who was saved and baptized in a Baptist church started dating a Mormon boy 2 months ago. Last week she announced she was becoming Mormon and was baptized Mormon. Does that mean she loses her salvation? Is that considered rejection of the Holy Spirit?
