Earth Without Believers?

Published: August 19, 2010
Q

I’m writing to clear something up, in connection to a question you answered about resurrection: “At the rapture, all believers who have previously died will be resurrected. This will leave the world completely devoid of believers for a time.”

I’m possibly misinterpreting the context, (apologies in advance if I am), but during the tribulation, wouldn’t many become believers (Tribulation saints). There would also be the 144,000 Jewish witnesses that would be spreading the WORD throughout the world; impervious to Anti-Christ’s attempts to get them out of the way. Either way, even as bad as things are bound to get, it sounds like there will be some evangelical influence, even during that horrific period.

More On The 2 Witnesses

Q

Thank you so very much for your site. You have been a lot of help to me. My question is if the two witnesses show up in Rev. 11:3 and are here for one thousand, two hundred, sixty days, would that go thru the great tribulation? At what point do they come and what point do they leave?

666 And The Star Of David

Published: August 17, 2010
Q

I happened to notice that the Star of David contains : a six sided figure(hexagon}, six small triangles, and six points. Do you think that this might be what is referred to in chapter 13 of Rev? I understand that the Star of David is of relatively recent usage. Just a thought.

More On The Bema Seat Judgment

Published: August 16, 2010
Q

Thank you so much for your ministry. Not a day passes by that I don’t check out your site and read your articles and questions answered. One topic that I constantly think about is the Judgment Seat of Christ. I understand that only believers will be at this judgment but I am confused as to what will be addressed. Will all of my sins as a believer be brought out at this judgment?

Will other believers in heaven be watching me go through this judgment or will it be between me and the Lord alone? I have read where you stated that our works as a believer will be judged and rewards given accordingly but what about all our failures in this life? I struggle with sin every day and feel like such a failure as a christian. Should I fear this judgment or should I look forward to it? I am really confused.

The Four Horsemen Of Rev. 6

Published: August 16, 2010
Q

Re: Rev. 6:8. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

I note that the statement in this verse indicated that the four horses of Revelations are given authority over a fourth of the earth.. I know china and the kings of the east are not under his authority for they gather an an army of 200 million men to attack the anti-Christ. Does this then mean that the anti-Christ is in control over only one fourth of the earth? This would certainly change the meaning of one world government.

Except Those Days Be Shortened

Published: August 15, 2010
Q

I would like to know what your thoughts are on the following… We know that the “Great Tribulation” is 1260 days. How does this figure fit in with MATTHEW 24: 22 “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

From the above are we to conclude that the “Great Trib” will be shorter than the 1260 days, or, does the 1260 day period include what Jesus said here in Matthew?

Submitting To Governing Authorities

Published: August 13, 2010
Q

Thank you so much for your website, it helps us so much in our study of the Bible. My questions is this: We know in Romans 13 it says we should obey the ‘government’ and we are to pray for our leaders, but praying for this administration is the hardest thing we have ever done. How do you pray for them when they are destroying America bit by bit? They throw the commandments back in the face of God and everyday we see more destruction by the laws they pass, the debt they create and their complete disregard for the will of the people. The only way we can justify praying for these evil people is that God put them in charge as the instrument to bring about the downfall of America and to bring the Rapture closer. Can you give us better insight to this?

Assuming no adultery, if an unbeliever divorces a believer because of his/her faith, is the believer free to remarry?

Israel’s Calendar Discrepancy

Published: August 10, 2010
Q

If the age of man is supposed to be 6,000 years and we expect the Lord to return soon, Why is the Hebrew calendar only at 5770 years? This seems like an odd number if indeed we are so close to the end?
